Veterans Moving Forward
The mission of Veterans Moving Forward (VMF) is to “Provide service, emotional support, therapy or skilled companion dogs for veterans with physical and/or mental health challenges”. Through these services, VMF strives to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our disabled veterans by facilitating their recovery and increasing their safety and independence within their homes and communities. VMF provides canine support to address both visible and invisible wounds, ranging from adjusting to the loss of limbs to post-traumatic stress. These disabilities may have been acquired either during military service to our country, or through an accident or illness incurred in private life following that service.
About our Fundraiser
Our chapter is tying in a raffle portion to this fundraiser! If you would like to be entered into the raffle portion of the fundraiser PLEASE make sure to comment on your donation! The raffle amounts are $5 for 1 ticket, $12 for 5 tickets, and $30 for 12 tickets! Pictures of your raffle tickets and your numbers will be sent to you within 24 hours of your donation. We will be doing a live drawing on our chapter's Facebook and Instagram pages on Wednesday, April 28th so make sure to tune in! If you would just like to donate and not enter into the raffle that is also an option!
Our chapter was lucky enough to secure donations from many businesses across Hoboken including East LA, Vito's, and Ben & Jerry's just to name a few. A full list of raffle prizes will be released later in the week! So make sure to get those donations in!

What will my donation fund?
Your donation will go directly to Veteran’s Moving Forward to help provide service or companion support dogs to veterans with physical and/or mental health challenges at no cost to the veteran or their family. Facebook pays all the processing fees for you, so 100% of your donation goes directly to the organization.
